Fence and Home Staining Project

Over the last three months the Hunter Valley Board has reviewed proposals from countless potential vendors for our 2016 Fence and Home Staining Project. We are pleased to announce that the contract has been awarded to Certa-Pro Painters of Lake Ray Hubbard, the same company that did the first round of fence maintenance in 2013.
Over the last three months the Hunter Valley Board has reviewed proposals from countless potential vendors for our 2016 Fence and Home Staining Project. We are pleased to announce that the contract has been awarded to Certa-Pro Painters of Lake Ray Hubbard, the same company that did the first round of fence maintenance in 2013.
The project will begin on Wednesday, July 27th and is expected to last a minimum of two weeks.
In addition to repairing and maintaining certain fences in the neighborhood, Certa-Pro Painters will also be staining all of the wood accent areas of every home in Hunter Valley to include:
• Shutters
• Window Headers
• Window trim
• Corbels
• Upper level deck posts
Here’s where we need your cooperation:
• All fences must be unlocked and gates must allow access for the duration of the project.
o Even if your fence was stained in 2013, Certa-Pro will likely need access to your backyard to stain portions of your home, perform repairs to your fence or the common fence between you and your neighbor.
• All plants/trees must be cut back at least 12” from the fence
• Backyard grass must be mowed
• Personal items on or within close proximity of the fence or any areas of the home being stained must be removed for the duration of the project
Very important! - Please take the above steps to make sure Certa-Pro has unfettered access to your backyard/home exterior. While Certa-Pro Painters will do their utmost to avoid overspray, neither Hunter Valley HOA nor Certa-Pro Painters will be responsible for personal property that is stained or otherwise damaged as a result of the Homeowner/Occupant’s failure to adhere to the above. If access to the interior of the fence is inhibited due to plants/trees/grasses, the Homeowner will be assessed for the cost of trimming/removal. If locked/impassable gates or personal property inhibits Certa-Pro Painters’ ability to perform required work, the Homeowner will be responsible for 100% of the costs associated with staining their home’s exterior wood accents, repairing and maintaining their fence as well as the home/fence of any neighboring property also affected.
